Stewart Signs Hi-Vis use only the highest performance, legislation compliant 3M™ and Reflexite® materials, manufactured and tested to rigorous standards. Car, van and truck rear chevrons (Chapter 8 compliant)Stewart Signs Hi-Vis chevrons come to you in made up panels, with the red pre-applied onto the yellow, to save you application time, eliminate wastage and ensure fleet uniformity. The reflective red provides nighttime visibility and the fluorescent day glow yellow is for highway visibility at dusk and dawn or in poor daytime road conditions. We use 3M 3485 fluorescent yellow because it is the most durable and colourfast available. The standard red reflective is 3M 680-72 which is both highly durable and conformable over body contours. You also can order red retro-reflective chevrons in emergency service grade prismatic 3M Diamond Grade or Reflexite which increase your vehicle visibility up to nine times conventional reflective products, can be seen from 1000M and reflects to nearly 90°. Do I need a Standard or a Premium Chapter 8 chevron kit?Most vehicles affected by Chapter 8 guidelines only require our Standard kits to comply, however there are certain vehicles which are required to bear stronger visibility markings. Our Premium grade reflective is up to 9x more visible at night and is used by vehicles stopping in fast moving traffice that need to be seen from that extra distance, eg:
