Stewart Signs Supports the 2025 Yunex Traffic UK Design Competition
POSTED 16.12.25At Stewart Signs we believe that design has the power to make a real difference. That is why we are proud to support the Yunex Traffic UK Design Competition again in 2025. This initiative encourages primary school pupils to explore their creativity while promoting an important message about road safety.
The competition challenges primary school pupils across the UK to design a road safety sticker that is both eye-catching and effective at communicating key safety messages. Every year we are amazed at the level of imagination and thoughtfulness in the submissions. It is inspiring to see young people using their skills to communicate important messages that can help keep people safe.
This year has been particularly exciting with a record-breaking 641 entries from 17 schools across the UK. Pupils submitted everything from bold graphics to clever slogans, each showing their understanding of how design can make road safety messages memorable.
After careful consideration the judges selected six outstanding winning designs. These entries stood out for delivering a clear road safety message in a fun and engaging way.
Congratulations to all the winners. Stewart Signs is proud to play a role in bringing these designs to life by transforming the artwork into high-quality safety stickers and applied to Yunex Traffic service vehicles across the country. For the students seeing their work displayed on real vehicles is a great experience and for us it is a privilege to help make that happen.
Beyond the stickers themselves the competition underscores the importance of thoughtful design and effective communication. At Stewart Signs these principles are at the heart of everything we do, whether it is fleet graphics, rail livery, marine signage, or large-scale outdoor advertising. Good design is not just seen, it is understood, remembered and acted upon.
We are also proud that supporting initiatives like this aligns with our wider commitment to community engagement. Encouraging young people to think about the impact of design and how it can keep people safe contributes to a more responsible and mindful approach to visual communication.
To all the pupils who entered this year thank you. Your creativity, energy, and imagination continue to inspire us.
Stewart Signs is delighted to continue this partnership and cannot wait to see the creativity, ideas and enthusiasm next year will bring. Here is to making road safety more engaging, memorable, and fun, one design at a time.
